Meet Samir
I’m Samir. I trained in Paris, worked in New York, and landed in Surry Hills. I’ve been cutting, colouring and transforming hair for over 21 years, at places like 3D Salon in Paris and Wildlife here in Sydney.
I work with every hair type: afro, textured, straight, curly, fine, thick. If it grows on your head, I know what to do with it.

Working on dry hair (in the most natural way your hair sits). with every hair type: afro, Asian, Caucasian, textured, straight, curly, fine, thick, wavy. Men and women. The things people come to me for most: women's cuts and styling, skin fades and taper fades, dreadlocks and crochet locs,, afro reshaping, and blow waves. I also do something that I’ve lasted in the 90s I call 'Hair Sculpture': freehand designs shaved into the hair. Tribal patterns, Arabic calligraphy, geometric shapes. It started as a creative outlet and became one of the things people travel across Sydney for.
