Privacy Policy

When you book, Le Garage collects your name, mobile number, email address, service, appointment details, prices, notes and any reference photos you choose to upload.

Payment information is submitted directly to Stripe. Le Garage does not see or store your full card number.

If you explicitly allow measurement, Le Garage collects a first-party visitor identifier (_lg_vid), IP address, browser or user-agent, referrer, pages and allowlisted actions. IP addresses are not sent to an external geolocation service. No canvas, WebGL or browser/device fingerprint is collected. Basic security and server logs may be processed without measurement consent to protect the service.

Booking details are used to create and manage appointments, send confirmations, reminders and service updates, process deposits, payments and refunds, respond to enquiries, keep visit history and protect the booking system. If you identify yourself during booking, consented site activity may be associated with your contact record to understand the booking journey.

Appointment and operational messages are service communications. Marketing messages are separate and are sent only with consent or where applicable law otherwise permits. You can opt out using the instruction in a marketing message or by contacting Le Garage; necessary appointment messages may still be sent. Le Garage does not sell personal information.

Service providers receive only the information needed for their role: Stripe (payments), ClickSend (SMS), Resend (email), Fly.io (application hosting), Neon (database hosting), Cloudflare R2 (uploaded-file storage), and Google or Meta analytics and advertising-measurement services only after explicit measurement consent.

Some providers process or store data outside Australia, including in the United States. Le Garage does not sell or rent personal information.

Necessary cookies support booking sessions, security and saved privacy choices. Non-essential measurement is off by default. If you explicitly allow measurement, Le Garage sets the first-party _lg_vid visitor cookie for up to 12 months and may load Google or Meta analytics and advertising-measurement tags, which can set provider cookies. Google ad-personalisation signals are disabled. Google and Meta tags do not load before consent.

Le Garage does not use canvas, WebGL or browser/device fingerprinting. Use Privacy choices in the footer to change your selection; choosing Necessary only clears _lg_vid and stops new optional measurement.

Booking data is stored in a secured database with access limited to authorised Le Garage users, and website connections use HTTPS. Payment card information is handled by Stripe. Website-uploaded consultation photos are stored in Cloudflare R2 while a booking or quote is active, then automatically deleted within 30 days after the appointment is completed, cancelled or marked no-show. Unclaimed uploads are deleted after 24 hours.

Consented measurement identifiers and events are retained for no more than 12 months, then automatically deleted. Booking, payment and tax records are kept for the applicable legal and tax record-keeping periods. Application and security logs under Le Garage's control are retained for no more than 14 days unless needed for an active security investigation. When a retention requirement ends, information is deleted or de-identified unless it must be kept for a dispute, legal obligation or security investigation.

You can ask to access or correct personal information, request deletion where Le Garage is not legally required to retain it, withdraw analytics consent, opt out of marketing, or make a privacy complaint by calling 0401 611 266.

If a complaint cannot be resolved, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at https://www.oaic.gov.au/privacy/privacy-complaints.

A parent or guardian should make and manage a child's booking. Le Garage does not knowingly use children's information for optional measurement or marketing. Access to booking data and uploaded photos is restricted to authorised users. If a data breach is likely to cause serious harm, Le Garage will assess it and notify affected people and the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner where required.
