Colour That Starts With a Conversation

My colour work starts with a conversation. Before any colour touches your head, we talk about what you want, what your hair has been through and what is safely achievable in one visit.

I'll always tell you the truth about timing and condition. If going from dark to platinum in one appointment would wreck your hair, I'll say so and map out a plan that gets you there with your hair intact.

Balayage

Hand-painted, lived-in colour with a soft regrowth line. Low maintenance, high impact.

Foils

Half head to full head, fine or chunky. Brightness exactly where it works for your face.

Bleach & Blonde Work

Global bleach, root smudges and toners. Blonde that's deliberate, not brassy.

What to Expect at a Colour Appointment

Consultation first

We talk before we mix. Bring reference photos — they help me understand the tone you're imagining.

Honest timing

Colour takes as long as it takes. Your booking shows the expected duration, and I'll tell you upfront if your hair needs more.

Patch tests

First-time colour clients, anyone with sensitive skin, and anyone who has reacted to hair colour before must arrange a patch test with Samir at least 48 hours before the appointment. Arrange it in advance by phone; do not rely on dropping in. Without the required test, the colour service cannot safely proceed and must be rescheduled.

Toner & finish

Lightening is only half the job. Toner dials in the final shade, and you leave with a finish, not wet hair.

Colour Questions

Can I go from dark to blonde in one visit?

Usually not in one sitting — not without damaging your hair. I'll assess what your hair can take and map the fastest safe route, often over two or three visits.

How do I prepare for a colour appointment?

Come with your hair in its normal state — no need to wash right before. Bring reference photos, and tell me about any previous colour, henna or chemical treatments.

Do I need a patch test?

Yes if it is your first colour with Samir, you have sensitive skin, or you have reacted to hair colour before. Arrange the patch test by phone at least 48 hours in advance; do not rely on dropping in. If the required test has not been completed, the colour service cannot safely proceed and the appointment must be rescheduled.

How long does balayage or a full set of foils take?

Balayage is around two hours; a full head of foils up to three depending on length and density. The booking system shows the duration before you confirm.

How often will I need my colour redone?

Balayage can stretch three months or more. Regrowth on a full colour usually shows at four to six weeks. I'll give you an honest maintenance schedule for the look you choose.
